A number of European countries, including Greece, have a Golden Visa investment scheme which offers a form of permanent residence with additional beneifts. It permits visa free travel within the Schengen zone to investors and their families from outside the European Union. Applicants must be over 18 years of age and the total investment made must be a minimum of 250,000 Euros.
Immediate family of the investor, including children under 21, parents, spouse or partner (with a Greek issued co-habitation agreement) can also be entitled to a permanent residence permit.
